When we went for Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom a couple months ago, we knew we had to come back for Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom, especially when we saw photos of that snow tubing hill! The girls had a blast doing that, and we thought it was adorable that there was a smaller snow tubing hill and snowball fight area for the littles. Near that same area is a s’mores station with several fire pits providing some welcomed heat while we stood and waited for the girls to have their turn snow tubing. Hot chocolate was in abundance all throughout the park to keep us warm from the inside, and we all took full advantage of those hot drinks!
There were photo spots set up everywhere, and Santa was available for photos in his workshop as well. We got to listen to carolers around the park; they were talented and so friendly. The park was beautiful while the sun was still out when we got there, but it truly transformed into a magical winter wonderland as soon as the sun set. It really got us in the Christmas spirit, and we’ve been telling everyone to make sure they go with their families!

Why Choose Kentucky Kingdom All Year Long?We’ve been to a lot of theme parks across the country, and not only is Kentucky Kingdom in our proverbial backyard, it’s also one of the most affordable for families we’ve been to. Parking is only $15, admission is really reasonable, and the food and drinks are a great value. If you have toddlers or school-age children, a whole section of the park is dedicated just to them. If you have older kids like our teens, the more intense thrill rides are plentiful. It’s even perfect for a date night, which we made it into while the teenagers set off on their mission to ride every attraction at Kentucky Kingdom in one day. The hubby and I had fun taking pictures, driving the old Fords, riding the Himalaya, and doing the 5D Cinema. What will you and your family do when you go this month?!
